There are many online wedding-planning tools, but none of them can adapt to your unique priorities and/or are Hawaii budget specific. Our wedding consultants recognize that each client will value some aspects of the wedding more. For example, one bride may want splurge on the flowers while for another bride's luxury is top-notch entertainment. Our Parasol Events wedding planner interviews and educates each client about budget as part of our first phase and we provide tips for budgeting with Hawaii weddings specifically in mind. Our wedding planners mentally shift to accommodate the personal priorities and values of our destination couples so that they experience a more thoughtful wedding event.

Two common approaches to budget are:

1) What can I afford to spend on my wedding or reception?

and/or

2) What do I want for my wedding or reception?

The first approach is driven by the reality of set resources. This method requires the couple to simply determine how much money they have to spend on their wedding and/or reception (or what they have set aside).

The second approach begins when the couple considers the logistics and details first. This would include how many guests, the intricacy of event design, and how many elements they want to incorporate (a lounge, lighting, specialty linens, etc) and the lavishness of the event.

Regardless of the method of budgeting the bride and groom will ultimately need to know how much their wedding event will cost. Our wedding planners will share this invaluable knowledge. This information is critical and especially useful in the beginning stages of planning before any contracts or agreements have being signed. Parasol Events know that getting the big financial picture allows brides and grooms to prioritize, edit and in some cases boost services based on what the tentative budget looks like. This ability to refine spending in advance results in a more thoughtful and value added expenditures which purposefully maximizes each dollar you spend.
